Reiki Courses
Reiki is something anyone can learn and use, there is no special
ability or prior training required. When asked if anyone can learn the art of Reiki,
the founder of Reiki, Mikao Usui replied
"Of course, a man, woman, young or old,
people with knowledge or without knowledge, anybody who has a common sense can receive
the power accurately in a short time and can heal selves and others."
We Offer our professional Reiki courses as online training, live and in real-time to small groups of students (5 max) or on-demand one to one either online or at your home (London only).
Our
Reiki courses are straightforward, comprehensive, professional
and offer a wonderful opportunity for personal growth and development. Our Reiki courses
are very focused and teach traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho without the myriad Western add-ons
that complicate and clutter this simple yet incredibly effective healing art.

for those wanting to work as a therapist as well as those for whom Reiki is for
personal use. Our Reiki courses cover everything you need to be able to treat yourself

What are Reiki Levels/Degrees?
Reiki training is structured into levels (or degrees). The traditional Western system
of Reiki is taught in 3 levels and the traditional Japanese system of Reiki is taught
in 5 levels with 2 additional levels within the Gakkai. In the UK, the standard 3
level system has been changed by some Reiki teachers since the introduction of
NAtional Occupational Standards (NOS) to introduce new levels such as Professional
Practitioner, Master Practitioner.
Level 1: The first part of Reiki training. Focusing on the theory of Reiki and the
use of one part of the Reiki energy, the 'Rei' energy that works on a spiritual level.
Level 2: Teaches the second part of the Reiki energy, the 'Ki' energies that work directly
on a physical and emotional level. This is the practitioner course that teaches and allows
you to work professionally. Our Level 2 Professional Preactitioner course is developed
to meet the requirements of the National Occuptational Standards (NOS) for Reiki.
Professional Practitioner/Master Practitioner: Some Reiki teachers have created
new and additional levels of Reiki to teach professional practice to NOS requirements.
Our Reiki courses meet the NOS requirements at level 2. We feel this is best practice.
Reiki Master Healer: This is generally a Reiki course with additional
information to level 2 that is more focused on extra healing knowledge. Our level 2
Reiki course includes all the knowledge required to be an effective and safe Reiki practitioner
and brings you to the competence, skills and knowledge levels required by NOS.
Reiki Master Teacher: This is our level 4 course. Sometimes called level 3, 3a, 3b.
This teaches you how to carry out Denju inititiation attunements and how to teach Reiki to
professional standards as defined by NOS.
We hold our Reiki courses at your home as one to one or online via live via video meeting.

Why do our Reiki courses?
We teach traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho from Usui-sensei's Japanese lineage to
encompass the best and most effective Reiki training available while staying as
true as possible to the methods and spirit of Usui-sensei's teachings.
Our Reiki courses are based on traditional Usui Reiki, and focused on the most effective
application of Reiki. Mikao Usui developed and used his Reiki Ryoho as a natural healing art
and worked with clients with illnesses and injuries to help them using Reiki.
Reiki is an amazing healing art and we use it as such.
Our Reiki level 1 and Reiki level 2 courses are developed to teach Reiki as a professional
therapy and include all the material required to cover the National Occupational Standards
(NOS) for Reiki. Our online and at home courses are accredited with the International
Guild of Complementary Therapists and our at home courses are also accredited with
the Reiki Guild, so you can join the relevant Reiki association and get insurance to work
professionally.
At the moment, the Reiki Council and CNHC require in-person inititation (denju) for registration, so
to register you will either need to take our Level 2 at home course or take our online level 2
course and book an at-home initiation where I will come to your home and carry out the Denju in-person.
On completion of our Reiki level 2 course (including at home initiation where needed) and once you have met the minimum self-treatment hours and
minimum documented case studies, you can apply for the Reiki Council verification process.
This is something I can suppport you with as I was directly involved in developing the verification
process and assessments and CNHC registration.
Our Reiki Level 1 and Reiki level 2 course prepares you for both professional practice and personal
use of Reiki.
Our Reiki Level 4 Master Teacher course helps you to further develop your Reiki abilities
and gives you everything you need to teach Reiki confidently and professionally, including
certificate templates and all our Reiki manuals.
We teach Reiki courses both online and at your home for individuals or very small groups to ensure our students get
the best possible tuition based on their personal needs.
We have amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience of Reiki as both Reiki teachers
and Reiki practitioners, which we pass on to our students through our Reiki courses and
on-going post-course support.
Reiki Denju Initiation Attunements at home
You can book an at-home initiation if you have taken an online course with me and
would like to receive in-person Denju (initiation attunements). This is generally for students
who want to register with CNHC or join a Reiki association other than IGCT (who have
accredited my online Reiki courses).

Reiki Level 1 Course Shoden
This
Reiki level 1 course teaches Reiki in the
traditional Japanese style of the founder Usui-sensei. You will receive the 4 Shoden Denju
attunements on level 1. You will learn all the relevant Japanese techniques and theory
for this level. You will learn and practice aura/body scanning and self-healing during the course.
On completion of this Reiki course you will be able to use Reiki to treat yourself
with the Rei energy, the first part of the Reiki energy. This Reiki course is certified
and meets the requirements of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reiki.
A comprehensive manual and free post course support is included.

Reiki Level 2 Professional Practitioner Course Okuden
This
Reiki level 2 Professional Practitioner course teaches
the traditional Japanese style of the founder Usui-sensei and the application of Reiki
as the Active Reiki Method. This course
teaches Reiki as a professional practice as defined and required by the National
Occupational Standards (NOS) for Reiki.
You will receive the Okuden Denju attunement on level 2. You will learn all the
relevant Japanese techniques and theory for this level. You will learn to correctly
use the Usui symbols and how to work with Reiki in the traditional way, while adhering
to current best practice. You will also learn how to use Reiki as effectively as
possible using my Active Reiki Method. You will practice hands-on healing and distant healing
during the course.
This Reiki course is certified and meets the requirements of the National
Occupational Standards (NOS). A comprehensive manual and free post course support
is included.
On completion of this Reiki course you will be able to use Reiki with confidence
for yourself and others and work professionally as a practitioner. If you take
the course online you are able to join the International Guild of Complementary Therapists (IGCT)
and get insurance to work professionally as a Reiki practitioner. If you take the
course at home, you can join IGCT or the Reiki Guild.
To apply for the Reiki Council verification process and register with CNHC you will
need to receive Denju (attunement) at home, either by taking the course at home or by
booking an at home Denju (attunement).

Reiki Level 1 & 2 For Self-Use
This Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 Self-Treatment courses is aimed at people that want to
learn Reiki for their own self-healing. I have used my Reiki level 1 and 2
Professional Practitioner course as the basis for this course and removed the elements
for working with the public and for treating others. The course is very simple and
focused on using Reiki to treat yourself to the same standard as the Professional Practitioner course.

Reiki Level 4 Master Teacher Course Shihan Kaku
This
Reiki level 4 Master Teacher course covers all that is required to allow
the student to teach Reiki professionally and dramatically
elevates the student's awareness. Students are attuned to the Reiki Master level and
will learn and use the Reiki Master symbol. This course takes students to the next stage
of their Reiki development, whether they want to progress to teach Reiki professionally
or as a means of empowering those that need Reiki healing to be able to self-heal.
On completion of this course students will be able to attune students using a
traditional method and teach Reiki courses. Reiki courses can be formal professional
courses or informal personal courses for people that have a need for self-healing and
will not be working with others.
